Career Services & TAP (Fallon)
Employment Readiness and Transition Assistance programs are geared towards assisting Sailors and family members finding meaning employment. Sailors and their family members can come in and sit with one of our Work and Family Life Consultants (WLFC) or attend our workshops.
One-on-one assistance or workshops address launching a job search, career planning, resume writing, interview techniques, federal employment information, self-assessments, goal setting, and vocational tests. The FFSC Career Center also offers computers, the internet, and job postings for your use.
Transition Goals, Plans, and Success (Transition GPS)
TGPS is for Sailors and family members to be substantially better prepared for civilian life. TGPS workshops are required for every service member separating from the military. Transition GPS workshops are scheduled through your Command Career Counselor and your command, orders are required.
TGPS classes throughout Navy Region Southwest are available in the download section.
