Barracks & Dorms
Most junior personnel (E1–E3 and E4 with fewer than four years of service) may be required to live in Unaccompanied Housing (UH), depending on space availability. Some senior personnel may also qualify under specific circumstances. For UH contact information, please visit the Family and Unaccompanied Housing page.
Base Amenities
NAS Fallon offers a full range of amenities—including recreation, fitness, dining, religious services, and educational resources. Most facilities are located within walking distance of UH. For details on base amenities, contact the Housing Service Center.
Geographic Bachelors (GB)
Geographic Bachelors (GB) are service members assigned to NAS Fallon who choose, or are required by circumstance, to have their dependents remain in another location. GBs receive Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) at the “with dependents” rate.
GBs are not normally authorized to live in UH; however, a limited number of spaces may be available. Service members must submit an application through their chain of command before arrival, if possible, or upon arrival at NAS Fallon.
Applications are reviewed by the Assignment Review Board. If approved, the service member will be placed on a waiting list and offered UH accommodations when available. GBs are housed in three- or four-person rooms for the duration of their stay or until they choose alternative housing.
For more information about the GB program or to obtain an application, please contact the UH administrative office.
