Reporting Options

Understanding reporting choices can help survivors make the decision that feels right for them. The Navy recognizes two primary reporting options:

• Restricted Reporting — confidential support without command or law enforcement involvement

• Unrestricted Reporting — initiates command and law enforcement notification
