Front Desk Associate

 

 

MAJOR DUTIES: Ensures security and privacy of all guests is maintained at all times.  Possess a welcoming manner and positive attitude.  Utilizes the Property Management System to access the guest information, retrieve reservation information, change or cancel reservations.  Receives and processes reservation within guidelines.  Register and assign guests to rooms.  Receives and is accountable for a change fund.  Inventory all keys and other supplies maintained at the front desk, answers phones and performs all other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  

  • Requires 6 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles, concepts, standards, regulations and administration related to customer service, reservations, and/or front desk function, and night auditing functions.

  • Must be skilled in the use of personal computers using various types of software.

  • Must possess basic math and reading skills.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

  • Ability to handle, control, and account for large amounts of cash.
